Right, this is possibly the best way to go if wanting to get into Amateur Radio in the UK. As you need to pass exams to use Amateur Radio THIS is the all in one place to be. You can sit their online Foundation Licence course (Preferably on the run up to your exam is best)
If you are seriously considering getting into Amateur Radio then click the pic to the left for a direct link to their site, you won’t regret doing so believe me. Essex Ham run an online course that prepares you for the real thing. You’ll have to book your Foundation exam yourseelf but on the run up to that exam take the Essex Ham course as mentioned at the top. I went through the course myself and I am more than happy to recommend it to anyone seeking their Ham Radio Licence
Also, every St Georges day and several other days in Galleywood Essex Ham go out portable (by the pub I might add lol) I’ve been myself and enjoyed it, if I still had my car I’d go again
